I wanted this to have a simple, nearly Hallmark feel to it.

I haven't been a very good daughter today, I slept in and didn't go out of town with my parents to go see my grandmother (because I can't stand going into the nursing home). So, instead I worked on this and tidied up the house a bit, though I doubt anyone will notice a difference. I hope she likes this, something for her to put on her desk at work.

Done with pencil, micron pens, and watercolor pencils.

Oh, that's so nice! I'm sure she'll love it (or wait, I guess it's actually not mother's day anymore... well, did she like it?). Either way, it was a nice thing to do.
