Lo is still young for his kind, and rarely demonstrates his abilities intentionally. It was been witnessed that he can provide life, or even take it away, from plants. Some testify that he has the power of persuasion, for he is good with animals and can sometimes cause others to become either calm, or extremely unsettled in his presence.

Weakness(es): fire, brute strength, and modern weapons.
Strength(s): Stealth, silence, and swiftness.

Personality: Lo is quiet and introverted, but curious. Being a displaced creature, he isn't entirely used to or comfortable in his modern surroundings. For example, upon turning on a faucet and the water pressure happening to be high, he might give a bit of a start.

He is cautious, and doesn't often display trust in others. He rarely speaks, for he was taught not to except with his own kind..but is learning to disregard the rule. Despite his quietness, though, he can be stubborn and incredibly defensive. He still holds on to some feral nature, and he has been known to hit or bite upon being touched, and has even tried to use his horn as a weapon. Lo also has been known to be a bit of a trouble maker...he disagrees with many social norms (eating utensils, clothes, manners, etc), and a close eye is often kept on him.

As for how he interacts with others, he seems calmer around women of all species, but is particularly uncomfortable around human males. He acts more mature than he does childish, for he is an old soul...unless he is around things that he is unfamiliar with (then he can show a bit of that childish wonder).

History:

Lo and his mother lived alone in a grand forest. He never knew his father, for he was told it was natural for males to wander so that it might aid in replenishing their kind. He and his mother lived to protect and serve their home. Their presence, like in folklore, was rumored to keep away droughts and cold, life ruining weather. The forest seemed dark and unwelcoming to outsiders, which was their intention. However, humans still came to camp in the forboding place, and one year, due to unknown reasons, the forest caught fire, and much of it was destroyed.

Lo lost his mother to the fire, for they were separated as it spread. He escaped uninjured, but due to his connection with the forest he grew ill. Much of his food had burned away, and he began to starve, and much of the animal life that could escape the place did...and Lo was left alone.

A member of the school found him several years ago, and brought him there. Again, leaving the forest made him ill, but his body eventually broke the connection and made a new one with the nature of his new surroundings. He was weak then, and his magical power has waned too, but it seems to be growing strong again.

His age is unknown, for it is written that unicorns are ageless. However, his body has grown since his coming to the school. His horn, as developed as it is, is thought to show some sign to his age and magical promise. It is not known that he is capable of purifying wounds or water with it, for he has not let anyone close enough to allow it to be tested. Despite unicorns being peaceful creatures, Lo's lifestyle has left him feral and distrustful.

-Lo is illiterate
-it is not known whether he is capable of transforming into his animal counterpart, or if he just refuses to in his current environment
-his hair is often worn in a long, thick braid that is tied in on itself. Someone else often has to do this for him, and there is very few that he allows to do so.
-the whites of his eyes are black, and his irises are silver. His thick lashes often hide the color, making his eyes seem entirely black.
-the tips of his fingers appear as if they have been dipped i something black (it's hard to tell in the image)
-Lo oftentimes is completely silent in his movements, even when he is walking on wood floors with his hoofed feet.
